But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Few things about me: 1. I love spending time with my wife and kids, just love it. 2. I don't drink alcohol and I don't do drugs. 3. I was in the US Army for 4 years. Learned many great things in a very short period.
I'm a digital artist, self-proclaimed Illustrator with a degree in Graphic Design. I started drawing at the age of 6. I put my heart into my work, I'm addicted to every piece I work on. I just need the right opportunity to break into the art world. I don't care about getting rich, I just want to take care of my family. My family and my art keeps me grounded. I thank God for blessing me with eyes to create art.

My pleasure. It's well worth it. I got your response for the texture for the ball. It gave me an idea on how to possibly create skin texture for a human, possibly. Thanks for writing me back about that, that was great implementation of the blur tool with that football texture. I'll let you know how my idea turns out. Thanks again.
Just finished watching the videos. Great job. I'm new to illustrator. One year of classes in Jr. college. I would spend the time to watch the whole video. Unable to find the voodoo hair brush here or google. HELP plz.
Keep up the tutorials on gradient mesh. I want to learn M O R E.....
Thanks. Here the link for the voodoo hair brush here on Deviantart. [link] Did you watch my videos on DA or on Youtube? Youtube will probably be the best spot since I frequently ad new videos. Good luck on quest to learn gradient mesh, i'll be here if you need help.
Thank you for the link.. I will be trying this asap. I want to use the gradient mesh to create vector art of my grandkids. I may be asking you lots of questions. And I watched the videos on youtube. Do you have any ideas of a good book on gradient mesh?
Just watched the hair tutorial, had never tried using the brush method to create hair so that's more food for thought. Looking forward as well to the skin texture video. Thanks in advance, Frank.
I try new things every time I create vectors. That brush method can really be a cool way to add depth to hair. I will add a link to that video to get that brush easier.
I just watched one of your tuts...WOW! You really showed me a lot! I can't wait to try it out. I do have one question though. I do a lot of drawing. How can you use the gradient mesh tool to color in drawings instead of photos?
I'm glad my vids were helpful. You can bring your sketch into Illustrator the same as a picture. To get the the color, set up a color palette and choose color from there. Lay down the basic colors and go back and add intermediate colors to help with the blending, this should do the trick. Creating the gradient mesh this way, you will need a vision and a lot of creativity. Don't be afraid of the gradient mesh, I gave you a blueprint that I had to learn through trial and error. My recent Youtube series is more straightforward and probably easier to learn from. You find those videos by clicking the link in my signature. Good luck.
