I wanted to try a different style. I used gradient mesh, but not the way I normally do it. For this vector, I used outlines to give a comic feel. I used Illustrator CS4. Hope you like it.

Program: Illustrator CS4
98% done with the gradient mesh tool, but I also used the pen tool, blur, and the feather tool.

Sweet, the gradient mesh is a really effective tool to make objects look dimensional. This is really a cool piece.

Thanks. It does make objects look dimensional and it's addictive. Gradient mesh is a great tool for many things but there is a learning curve though.
